The Shags
Back in the 80s, a group of teenagers from Caersws and Carno formed bands and became part of the local live music scene. Bands such as Apex and Renegade built strong local followings before university, work and life eventually took the members in different directions.
Four decades later, and with years of experience in covers, tribute and original rock bands, they have reunited as The Shags to relive the glory days. Their set celebrates the classic rock they grew up with — from Thin Lizzy, UFO, Free, Bryan Adams and AC/DC to more recent favourites like Stereophonics and Alanis Morissette.
The Shags feature Dave Bound, Greg Conboy, Mark ‘Jaff’ Jefferis, Rob Jerman, Brandon Lane, Martin Lloyd, Ali Humphreys and Will Petrie.
