Hafan Yr Afon and Climate Action Newtown invites you to a special community screening of the National Emergency Briefing film, followed by an informal social and discussion.

This powerful 45-minute film brings together leading UK experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis, exploring how it impacts our everyday lives, from food and health to the economy and national security.  

Originally delivered to over 1,000 policymakers and leaders across the UK, the briefing is now being shared nationwide through local screenings like this one, encouraging communities to come together, engage with the evidence, and consider what meaningful action could look like.  

This is not about politics or blame. It’s about understanding where we are, what’s at stake, and how we respond collectively.
