Mascot Moth is an experimental psychedelic rock band from Llanfyllin, Wales, known for their eclectic fusion of prog, jazz rock, and krautrock influences. The core members are Sioned Camlin (drums/vocals), Jack Hunter (bass/vocals), and David Thomas (guitar/vocals), with frequent collaborations from musicians like Rob Harrison (flute/saxophone) and Eric Heath (synths).

Formed in 2016 after the hiatus of Strap The Button, Mascot Moth has been active in the psychedelic music scene, performing at various festivals and venues. Their music reflects a deep connection to Welsh mythic traditions, as seen in their Welsh-language album ‘Nol i Annwfn’ (‘Back to Annwfn’), which explores themes of the ‘otherworld’ in Welsh mythology.

In 2024, they released the ‘Mind Maze’ EP, showcasing their experimental approach to psychedelia. Tracks like ‘I Want to Be 1, 2, 3’ feature uncanny noises and hypnotic drones, creating a psychedelic trance that captivates listeners.
