Free Creative Workshops: Rag Rugging & Bird Box Pyrography
Join us at Hafan Yr Afon for a morning of free, hands-on creative workshops on Saturday 21 March from 11am to 1pm.
This community event, organised by Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and hosted at Hafan Yr Afon, invites people of all ages to explore traditional craft techniques in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Rag Rugging Workshop
Discover the traditional craft of rag rugging and learn how recycled fabrics can be transformed into colourful and textured designs. This workshop is delivered in collaboration with Textile Junkies, a creative textile initiative focused on reuse, sustainability and craft skills.
